Introducing The Custom
Golf Club Fitting Kit

Do you want to be Custom Fit for a set of Golf Clubs?

Do you want to build them yourself, but don't know how to properly fit yourself?

Are you skeptical of buying custom fit clubs online when the retailer only asks you 3 or 4 questions?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions then you have come to the right place.  There are so many variables that come into play when custom fitting golf clubs.  A real clubfitter needs to know more than two or three things about you to recommend the right set of clubs for your swing.

I have put together a Fitting Kit that will gather all of the information necessary to help you get a set of truely custom clubs that are right for you.  And this price also includes my professional assessment of the data and a recommendation back to you of the clubs you will need to most improve your game.

Here is what the kit will help you do:

  • It will help you analyze your current clubs, by showing you how to measure the length and the grip size.  It includes a jig to help you measure the length, and a gauge to measure the grip.  It will also show you how to get the proper information to me to measure your lie angles.
  • The Fitting Kit will also tell you what you need to do at the golf course in order to properly analyze your swing.  The kit includes Impact Labels, a Dynamic Lie Angle Board, and a Fitting Scorecard.
  • Most importantly, the kit comes with a manual to show you exactly what you need to do.

Why is using the Fitting Kit better than other online retailers custom fitting process?

Bad FittingOnline retailers don't take into account a golfers ability when recommending club length.  They only base their reccomendation on the physical measurements of the golfer.

Good FittingJust because a person is taller than average does not mean that they should have longer clubs.  A person needs to be dynamically fit for length.  The fitting kit will show you how to do this.

Bad FittingOnline retailers don't take a golfers typical flight pattern into consideration when selecting a shaft.

Good FittingThe Fitting Kit will show you how to do a flight pattern check, a trajectory check, a distance check, as well as a dynamic lie angle check in order to select the right shaft.  All of these factors influence shaft selection.

Bad FittingOnline retailers will generally only use glove size to determine the proper grip size.

Good FittingMany times a golfers optimal grip size will only be 1/64" or 1/32" over or under the standard grip size.  Using glove size as a measurement of your hand will not detect small differences such as these.  Also, the way you grip your club will also affect the proper grip size for you.

Bad FittingOnline retailers rarely take lie angle adjustments into account.

Good FittingA Dynamic Lie Angle test is the only way to determine your optimal lie angle.  The Fitting Kit will help you to determine what your proper lie angle should be.

Bad FittingOnline retailers do not take "set makeup" into account.  That decision is totally left up to the buyer.

Good FittingThe Fitting Kit comes with a Fitting Scorecard which will help determine which clubs you should have in your bag.

Good FittingGood FittingThe Fitting Kit will help you to gather all of the proper information so I can make the best club reccomendation for you!!

  • A real club fitting can produce a lot of data to sift through and interperet.  This kit will save you the trouble of trying to make sense of all of the data you will generate.

  • As a member of the GCA I have been trained to fit Golf Clubmakers Associationand build golf clubs.  I will be able to make very specific recommendations on technical aspects of your clubs.  For example, I can tell you whether you need a high, medium, or low kick point on your shaft.  I can also tell the difference between a lie angle problem and a face angle problem.

  • After you have completely filled out all of the information, you will send me the data.  I will then sift through the data and and make a recommendation on the clubs you should have.  At that point, you can either build them yourself using information from my website or hire me to do it for you.
